A 5 week course on what it means to follow Jesus
Did you attend our Hope Explored sessions and want to continue on your exploration of faith?
Do you wonder what being a Christian is all about?
Are you someone who is new to Christianity?
Have you been wanting somewhere to go to learn and to be reminded afresh of what being a Christian is?
If so, the FOLLOW course is for you. It's a 5-week series taking place every Wednesday evening in March 2023. It will run from 7.45-9pm in the Mango Tree Cafe area of Greenisland Baptist Church.
We'll be looking through the Bible book of Ephesians and exploring 5 key themes:
CALL: The call to follow Jesus
COST: The cost of following Jesus
COMMUNITY: The community of people who follow Jesus
CREATIVITY: The gifting of people who follow Jesus
CHARACTER: The behaviour of people who follow Jesus
During each evening, you'll arrive into tea/coffee & treats. We'll then be hearing a short talk alongside an interview with someone who has experienced each of these aspects of Christianity in their own life with space for sharing in discussion (or simply listening to others)
